Adamu Addissie
Adamu is an Assistant Professor of Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine, Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia, and PhD Fellow at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS).
His areas of research are HIV/AIDS, Bio-medical ethics and Field Epidemiology. His research employs clinical, bio-medical and behavioural research methods to investigate ethical issues and challenges of medical research in low-income countries.
Adamu’s recent publications explore the implications of HIV Malaria Co-Infection in Southern Ethiopia and conducts rapid ethical assessments of informed consent in low-resource settings.
